FRC concrete contains different materials w It contains short fibers that are uniformly distributed and randomly distributed. The main motive behind the use of steel fiber in concrete is to increase the mechanical and durability parameters of concrete. It is the ratio of length to its diameter. The cross can be flat, circular and triangular and the parameter to desc the aspect ratio. Fiber reinforc techniques to enhance the overall properties of concrete. Fiber reinforced concrete is developed in recent years and its main advantages are good flexural strength, tensile strength, and impa permeability properties. In addition to cost reduction, SFRC has other beneficial properties such as higher stiffness, higher ductility, lightweight, low repair costs, and better post-cracking and dynamic behavior. Moreover, it has recently been used as an alternative engineering material instead of steel bars/steel stirrups in short Steel fibers reinforced concrete (SFRC) construction is more economical than conventional construction. Steel fiber is used to improve the mechanical properties of concrete, especially the postcracking tensile resistant. this random distribution shows loss of efficiency but the addition of fibres in concrete shows improvement in toughness and tensile properties of concrete with the help of resistance to cracking, with the help of different researches it is found that there is improvement in the properties of concrete and further development of steel fibre reinforced concrete is going on since last three decades this paper presents review of mechanical property of steel fibre reinforced concrete its benefits and its uses. in concrete in the previous time steel is used as tensile reinforcement in the tensile zone of concrete this steel is specifically designed but in case of fibres, fibres are short thin and uniformly or randomly distributing in the concrete steel fibres are basically defined as fibres that are short in length and having different cross sections according to the length and diameter (Aspect ratio) from 20 to 100 these are of small size due to which they can be easily distributed in the fresh controlled mix. This property is not desirable for any kind of construction so there is requirement of tensile reinforce. This results to the brittleness of concrete. ported notched beam under three-point loading.Concrete is the mostly used construction material in the world but there is a disadvantage of concrete that it is week in tension.
